RS700-E7/RS4
Front Parallel CPU and Memory Placement featuring Optimized Cooling Design for HPC
The ASUS RS700-E7/RS4 1U server is based on dual Intel® Socket R series processors (135W), designed with 24 DIMM slots to support up to 512GB memory. It features an optimized thermal design, up to four hard drives, 2+1 expansion, high power efficiency, and complete storage flexibility.
Features:
Front Parallel CPU Design features better cooling The ASUS RS700-E7/RS4 is designed with front parallel CPU and memory placement, which helps air vent smoothly while reducing power consumption. Shock absorbing mechanisms provide a foundation of reliability, and improve hard drive performance with the proprietary ASUS Shock Mount.
2+1 Expansion Slots There are three expansion slots on the RS700-E7/RS4, including two PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots and one slot for ASUS PIKE SAS RAID upgrade kits, providing high scalability in a compact 1U chassis.
Designed for Virtualization Applications With 24 DIMM slots, the RS700-E7/RS4 supports up to 512GB memory (R-DIMM), which is crucial for virtualization and scalability. On the other hand, quad LAN teaming ports offer high networking bandwidth with load balance and fault tolerance functions.
Massive Storage Capacity Four hot-swappable 3.5” SATA 6Gb/s or SAS 6Gb/s hard drives provide large storage capacity with high availability and easy maintenance.
Up to 94% Power Efficiency Outfitted with two 800W 80Plus Platinum power supplies, the RS700-E7/RS4 provides up to 94% power efficiency for HPC applications. The hot-swap design allows the server to keep working even if one power supply requires service.
Comprehensive Storage – RAID The RS700-E7/RS4 supports optional ASUS RAID PIKE upgrade kits. With just a PIKE riser card and a PIKE card, users can upgrade the server from SATA to SAS storage by re-connecting the cable from the onboard SATA to the PIKE riser card’s SAS port.
Complete Remote Server Management With default web GUI-based ASMB6-iKVM module, users gain full control of the server with out-of-band management (IPMI 2.0 standard) and 24/7 real-time remote monitoring. Meanwhile, ASWM Enterprise software provides one-to-multiple centralized management, including BIOS flash, remote control, power control, and asset management through a user-friendly interface.
Note: For full specifications see server platforms details.
Customize it for your needs
We offer an extensive selection of computer components through the convenient system configurators allowing to build broad spectrum of custom server systems up to the highly redundant and high-performance solutions. Starting configurations of our server systems include server platform (or separate server chassis and motherboard), CPU, memory, hard drive and in some cases optical and floppy drives. By using the configurator located in this page you can upgrade and downgrade components to fit this purchase into your budget and requirements. Besides the configurator, you can also add other components to your cart and we will install them as well. Our custom server systems come assembled and tested with warranty.
