Switching Laptop Screens

Can you put a different laptop screen into a laptop. Like say this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sager-NP9370-3D-120Hz-3D-17-3-WUXGA-FULL-HD-LCD-LED-Display-Screen-/141370729422?pt=US_Laptop_Screens_LCD_Panels&hash=item20ea5a23ce

and put it in http://www.avadirect.com/gaming-laptop-configurator.asp?PRID=29568

Why wouldn't it work? I know you can hook any computer to any monitor but will it work if I switch screens? Especially since the two model laptops cannot be tooooo different? They have the same monitor dimensions etc. The NP9370 is the Clevo P370. Not much different than the P377 I don't even think the mobos are different.

Please if you could get back to me about this works or not.

Thanks.

    Hellmanjk,

Screen assembly isn't a part of what we do. Barebone Clevos are sent to us from manufacturer after which we install the remainder of the parts you've selected. If there is a choice in screens, it's offered in our configurator. Once you choose your screen, we submit the order to Clevo so that we receive that screen. Any screen that is not posted in our configurator is not available for purchase and it's outside of our control as Clevo builds these barebones, we do not.

Will it actually work? It's possible, the connections may very well be the same. It's just not something we can do since we don't build these barebone units ourselves.
