USB ports not working

All but one of the USB ports on my AVA/Clevo laptop stopped working. The one that still works seems to go in and out, as in I have a USB thumb-drive plugged in and suddenly it the computer doesn't see it.

    I'm very sorry to hear this has happened. Is this true for both USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports? If so, have you attempted to reload the USB 3.0 driver and see if those ports work correctly? What kind of devices are you using in the ports? You can also try to use a version of Live Linux operating system such as Ubuntu and boot from it. If the system runs USB fine, then the issues may be with the software, perhaps the Windows OS install itself.
