Quick question about SSD vs HD

Hi, i'm about to buy a new laptop. I've already bought a computer from AVA but I want a SSD this time since i've heard good things about it. I've just got a couple questions first:
 
1) Can I buy a computer with just a SSD and no HD? I have it set up here

Does this work alright?
 
2) If I buy a computer with a SSD and a HD, which one does the operating system and all the default files get put on once I order it?

    You're most welcome to order your notebook with just the SSD and not the HDD. By default, we prefer SSD as the operating system drive due to the speed and overall performance.
