Intel to Stunt Overclocking on Sandy Bridge CPUs
Intel is releasing more information about their highly aniticipated Sandy Bridge CPUs. As the succesor to the Nehalem microarchitecture we have come to know and love, Sandy Bridge has some pretty large shoes to fill. With reliable overclocks well into the 4 ghz range, nehalem has been a dream come true for enthusiasts. But all that may change with its succesor as enthusiasts may be forced to buy unlocked versions of Sandy Bridge simmiliar to the K series CPUs recently introduced.
