I have always wondered when building a gaming machine for present or older games. Which would be more important in Win 7 Ultimate machine 1. 3.33 I7 CPU GTS 250 SSD boot drive
2. 2.66 I7 CPU and a GTX 295 or GTX 300 SSD boot drive
3. 3.33 I7 CPU GTX 295 or GTX 300 SSD boot drive is the most ideal but, how would other rigs above stack up?
I figure SSD drive will speed up load times by alot correct?
Is 2.66 fast enough for smooth play?

Hello Pdwe,
All three configuration will be very suitable for Windows 7, with new or old games.
Also, Windows 7 is said to take advantage of SSD, check out this article:
Kind Regards,

Good afternoon, There are some great first person shooters currently out, or just shooters in genreal. I would recommend Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2, Bad Company 2, Borderlands.
