AVADirect Now Carries Radeon HD 5770 & 5750 Video Cards
ATI cannot be stopped, according to their recent release of 5000 series cards within the past month. The motivation to become the worlds leading video card manufacture is driving them to the point of no return, and we like it! They just released the new 5770 and 5750 cards which are basically the 5800 series cards cut in half, in a cost and performance perspective. Though the numbers prove this to be true, the cards are still considered to be very fast for most current games.

ATI Radeon HD 5770

Core Frequency: 800 MHz Shader Amount: 800 Memory Amount: 1GB
Shader Frequency: 800MHz Texture Units: 40 Memory Bus Width: 128-bit
Memory Frequency: 1200 MHz FLOPS: 1.36 Memory Type: GDDR5

As you can see, all of the numbers are practically half when compared to the Radeon HD 5870. This is what make the price point perfect for those who want what ATI currently has to offer, without breaking the bank. The Memory Bus Width seems a little low for a new video card, but it's been revamped with GDDR5 to sweeten the deal.

ATI Radeon HD 5750

Core Frequency: 700 MHz Shader Amount: 720 Memory Amount: 1GB
Shader Frequency: 700MHz Texture Units: 36 Memory Bus Width: 128-bit
Memory Frequency: 1150 MHz FLOPS: 1.008 Memory Type: GDDR5

The ATI Radeon HD 5750 has very similar specs to it's big brother, the HD 5770, minus a couple of specifications here and there. It still hold to it's half-priced, half-performing nature to the 5800 series cards. This card is very close in price to the Nvidia GTS 250, but the specifications claim to out-perform the card by at least 20%.
