   Custom HTPC - MSI Home Theater PC/Avermedia HDTV Tuner

Some customers have a vision into what the most beautiful should look like.  They select the options on our website and we start to build it.  We then realize just how awesome a computer some of these systems really are.  This system was chosen and configured by an actual customer and we are displaying it here for your viewing pleasure.

My favorite type of system, an entertainment home theater system.  I personally use a computer through a hi-def system, so I love it when a system is specially configured to be used through a television.  This system is specially designed to be used as a TiVo-like device.  The customer decided to add a TV tuner card so that they can record over the air hi-def channels and regular cable channels.  Pair this up with a huge HDD and you can store countless hours of shows and movies.

This system is then equipped with an AMD Athlon X2 running at 2.1 GHz.  While the system may not win any gaming contests, that processor is perfectly acceptable for the type of work this system will do.  With the included WiFi module in the system, browsing the internet from the couch will become the favorite thing to do.  With a properly configured home network, videos and songs from other computers inside the house will be able to be piped into the home entertainment system.  This means no more watching the digital home moves through a small 17" LCD screen.
