Custom Gaming System - Antec P182/Intel E8500/9800 GX2/Liquid Cooled

Some customers have a vision into what the most beautiful should look like.  They select the options on our website and we start to build it.  We then realize just how awesome a computer some of these systems really are.  This system was chosen and configured by an actual customer and we are displaying it here for your viewing pleasure.

You can click any picture for a bigger view

This is a build I have been waiting for.  Not only are we going to install liquid cooling on this computer, the customer opted to use one of the newest waterblock from Danger Den for the 9800 GX2.  It is a very beautiful water block, and I cannot wait to see it installed in all its glory.  For more information on the 9800 GX2 waterblock, please click Danger Den 9800 GX2 Waterblock.  To use this waterblock, the tech must first fully disassemble the 9800 GX2 and completely remove the stock cooler and fan.  While on a normal card that would be easy and routine, the 9800 GX2 is two separate PCB cards constructed around the cooling system for support.  To see how this all works will be something new for me.  To top off the liquid cooling, we have ordered a specially fabricated case so that we can install the radiator on top for maximum cooling.  Nowhere else can you find a custom radiator setup like this.

It was finally complete and I think I went overboard with the pictures.  But this system is just so awesome, so great to look at.  Not only is this system a performer, function meets design as well.  While the mirror finish of the other P182 case was nice, maintaining that finish is going to be hard.  This system with such a beautiful window and matte finish is just something new and exciting.  The case is not overtly extravagant, yet extrudes this aura of competence like Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kid.  Enough of my ramblings, lets move on to the rest.

For the rest of the specs, it seems the customer is taking a completely different approach.  They did not go overboard with the CPU and GPU like so many other people do.  A single video card and a mid-range dual-core 3.16 GHz Intel set the pace.  But then the customer adds a whopping 8 GB of memory along with one of the best audio cards on the market.  To some people, the gaming experience may not be about the best graphics possible.  With the ram and audio setup, he is sure going to enjoy the sound effects and other possibilities with this machine.

Here are the complete specs for all of you look over.

Nice build, can you talk a little about what the "AVADIRECT, Premium 1xCPU + 1xGPU Liquid Cooling Kit" options mean and how they compare to the other liquid cooling options?

The AVADirect Kit includes everything needed for liquid cooling. Waterblocks, radiator, resovior, clamps, hoses, and coolant. It is a custom kit that can include brands like Coolit, Swiftech, Danger Den, and Koolance. Our liquid cooling kits are completely custom, and unique, so they cannot compare to other kits. Smile

The other liquid cooling options come as kits from the manufacturers that we purchase from them.  They are basically an all-in-one solution.  While it will work most of the time, we like to customize each and every system we build

The AVADirect Custom Liquid Kit is our own selection of name-brand components that we specifically choose to match your system specs exactly.  The customer can also specify which components go into their computer as well if they prefer one brand over another.

The build you see above, we selected premium waterblocks for both the CPU and GPU based upon the system build.  No other kit allows the usage of the 9800 GX2 waterblock unless you selected our custom liquid system.

A full article on the components we use can be seen here.
