We recently added a new notebook model by Getac. The 9213 Core 2 Duo Business Rugged Notebook. The performance is not quite comparable to a majority of mainstream Core 2 Duo notebooks, but the sole purpose of their functionality is to be able to withstand many situations that conventional notebooks cannot, like drops, ESD, and contact with liquids. Though, it differs in the environment in which it can function, it also has any similar properties of an every day notebook. Integrated wireless, finger print reader, integrated camera, and Mic will make you most comfortable when using this notebook on a daily basis. Getac does a fantastic job with improving the durability of their notebooks, while keeping qualities that hold very familiar with any average notebook end-user. Unlike other Getac models, this new line of rugged notebook models come standard with a three year warranty, and offer up to a five year warranty.
