Some customers have a vision into what the most beautiful should look like. They select the options on our website and we start to build it. We then realize just how awesome some of these custom computer systems really are. This custom system was chosen and configured by an actual customer and we are displaying it here for your viewing pleasure.

Tyan servers are well known for their quality standards and ability to house the most proficient hardware in any form factor. This end-user chose the very efficient Intel 5500 XEON Series chipset in a 1U factor. Many were worried upon the release of these processors, but easily assured when viewing the passive cooling technology used to remove heat from any chassis. The E5520 XEON CPU’s are a great price for performance factor, and will keep up with any rigorous server responsibility set forth. 24GB of Kingston RAM will keep this server up to date for at least 5-8 years, before considering a RAM upgrade. Most likely the server will be used for network administration, or running a proxy, and if that’s the case the customer may never need to upgrade until technology advances to a great degree. The four 73.5GB 15K SAS drives are a great way to keep read / write performance to a maximum, without creating too much of a bottleneck. The integrated 600W Tyan power supply is more than enough to run this system without any failures or insufficient power losses. Tyan servers are also easily accessible to most rack systems, so this makes management very easy to accomplish within a group of server systems. The end-user did a fantastic job at keeping the performance well balanced within this server.
