This laptop is for business use.  I am a spreadsheet jockey plus I use specialized file cabinet software for certified public accountants.  Speed is life for me, but not graphic speed

So I am looking at the new Clevo W150HNQ Coreā„¢i7 Gaming Notebook

Question #1.  Is the pre-order ship date of 2/7 still valid or can i expect this to be pushed back further?

Build specs below:

Base barebone (not 1080, only 720)
2720QM upgrade
Artic cooling thermal compound (works great for desktop builds)
8gb corsair pc3-10600 upgrade
Corsair Force 90 SSD - 90GB
Std Optical Drive
Std Wireless
Std Battery
Win7 Pro 64bit upgrade
System recovery DVD upgrade
Office Home & Office ugrade
Std 1 year warranty

Price $1591

Question #2 (a) Better to go with the better timing (CL7) pc3-8500 than the higher timing (CL9) pc3 10600 memmory? (b) SSD - any thoughts?  I believe that any of the Corsair Real C300/OCZ Vertex 2/Corsair Force will do just fine, but if anyone has a reason to go with one over the other I would appreciate any input (c) I usually swap out new laptops every two years or so (currently have x61 lenovo tablet) - does any one suggest upping the warranty?  I have had good luck over the past decade (knock on wood) so I usually don't pay to extend (d) any reason to pay for the upgrade to 1080 vs 720 for a work laptop?

Any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Hello levin70,

I have good luck with notebooks myself, so I never really extended warranties beyond default manufacturer specifications.

I do have some suggestions to improve the build. If you would be so kind to send me an email, so I have your email address, I can issue a custom quote to you: joseph.mundy@avadirect.com

Should you have additional questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience.

Thank you!

Kind Regards,
