Hello,

Thanks for reading. So my trouble is that I cannot SLI my PC since my EVGA card 640-P2-N821-AR isn't being sold anymore. I found some store but they're sold at an inflated price. Faster cards cost much less that this model. Anyway... according to this message in EVGA forum, I can use a similar, faster card that I can still buy for less and install it. Can someone please chime in on this issue? Could there be issues doing this?

Also, my PSU is 550 watt so I'm worried about PSU powre being an issue top of compatibility issue.

Hello Sirius,
According to Nvidia it is recommended that you have at least a 650W power supply in order to run SLI.  As for the compatibility you should be able to run SLI as long as you install a 8800 series card.  SLI will run at the lower cards speeds though.
I hope this answers your question.
Thank You
