My new build.

I normally build my own gaming rigs. This time around I didn't have the time or the want to build one myself. I did a bit of shopping around, and after seeing what others were charging for custom gaming PCs, I was almost reduced to building myself.

Then I heard about AVA from a friend and thought I would check it out. I was impressed. All the parts I was looking at purchasing were right here and the price was actually reasonable!

I came in with a 2k budget and was pretty close to meeting it when it was all said and done.

My plan is to add another GTX580 next year and if money permits I'll probably add a SSD drive and put my OS on it. The hard drive is not the best, but from reviews I have read it is at least stable. So I have to wait for things to load. Oh well! :)

I think this is probably one of the best bang for my buck systems I could have possibly built at my budget.

I have been building gaming PCs for about 15 years now. This is the first time I have ever let someone do it for me. You should feel honored! ;)

I'm hoping to add the 580 when the new line of cards come out next year; hoping for decent price drop. It's a gamble, but I believe this particular card will still be around. It's one of the most if not the most solid 580 on the market, imo.

If not, it's a respectable single card configuration, and nothing is stopping me from doing an SLI configuration--with different cards--later on down the road when I actually need to upgrade. :)

You have a pretty nice system put together. I had a friend who was able to build complete systems like you.
