Custom Gaming System - Lian Li PC-60/Intel Q9450/DDR3 1333/9600 GT

Some customers have a vision into what the most beautiful should look like.  They select the options on our website and we start to build it.  We then realize just how awesome a computer some of these systems really are.  This system was chosen and configured by an actual customer and we are displaying it here for your viewing pleasure.

I have not seen too many gaming systems come through inside a Lian Li case such as this.  This case looks more at home inside an office or at a business than be using to play Crysis.  However the insides tell a different story.  The popular Q9450 is once again at home again inside another gaming system.  This time paired up with some faster 1333 MHz DDR3 ram and the 10K WD Raptor to keep that processor well fed with data to crunch.  The eVGA 9600 GT rounds out the system for a respectable gaming rig.

However, the hard drives are setup in a different way than I have ever seen.  If you notice, there are three different hard drives at different speeds and capacities.  We have seen before the fast Raptor paired with a slower larger HDD before.  This way the Raptor stores and loads all the OS and game files quickly and the larger HDD is used for data.  In this setup, the smaller slower HDD is setup to directly mirror the Raptor.  This way if the system goes down due to HDD failure, the user does not need to do a full reload of all programs and games.  He can continue to either use the slower drive or replace the failed Raptor.  I know I save all my data, but if my main HDD goes down, it takes me several days to reload all my programs and install all the latest updates.  He sidesteps this entire time consuming process all together with the addition of a small inexpensive HDD add-on.

Here are the complete specs for all of you look over.
