Hi, I am interested in building a new laptop. After 4 years, my Compal JFL-92 still works great, but I'm looking for something that uses new Intel processors like the Compal PBL21. Will there be BIOS and Driver updates available for this unit? Compal's website has some issues for my current laptop's downloads, making them unavailable. Also I have some questions about options available. Thanks....

Hello jerryj,
The notebook will come with the standard driver disc, but we always recommend using the manufacturers website for the latest updates. Since the notebook is based on an Intel chipset, you could actually use their driver update utility online to find the latest drivers for your notebook, if you don't like Compal's website.
