I posted a config the other day but did not get any feedback. I did some additional homework and came up with 2 possible configurations. My budget for a good gaming and overall dependable system is now around $1700. I am without a decent machine and am looking to place my order asap. OK. I made your suggested change for the PS.Is the 850W adequate if I upgrade anything in the future?
I also changed the card reader. I know the EVGA cooling fan is a monster. Do you think it will interfere with the RAM? If you up your PSU to 1050 or 1200 (if you can afford it budget wise) This would future proof you to upgrade your system anyway you want.

The power supply you selected is perfect, great choice! The EVGA Superclock CPU Cooling Fan will be just fine. The CRUCIAL 16GB (4 x 4GB) Ballistix Tactical RAM you selected is low-profile, so it will be no issue installing both of them. You're very welcome! |

I noticed that the EVGA cooler is a special order part. I do not want to significantly delay my system so I switched coolers. Do you see any problems with my new choice?
