Feel free to move this thread to the help desk,as i was unable to make a new thread there.Recently bought a custom built laptop from you guys and its running great, no issues except this minor thing. Turned on the pc today, got on skype and it says i have no webcam. Laptop has/had a built in chicony webcam. I just device manager and it is no longer there, scanned for new hardware and nothing came up. Went to clevo website with my model to dl and install drivers for it but that didn't do anything either. I use skype to talk with friends and family and would much appreciate any help in getting it running again. Thanks for any help in advance guys.

Hello Hamtop,

I'm sorry you were having issues posting in the correct section. We're currently working to alleviate that problem.

In the mean time, most notebooks have soft power keys that enable and disable the webcam. If you look at your range of F keys (F1-F12) you might notice that one of them has a camera icon. Typically this is F10 but it can change from notebook to notebook. Sometimes it can also be F1. This needs to be pressed together with the FN key. This will enable/disable the webcam.

Please let me know if that works.
