My config^

My system failed in sleep mode and forced me to load the default bios?  Now I'm at 2.67 ghz and slagging along, unhappily.

How do I restore to what AVA sent me?

Will I have to manually go in and do it all myself?  Not really very funny since I paid AVA to do this. Stern%20Smile I don't suppose there is even a file sent with my system listing the settings.

Edit: Well fine, I am back to 3.5ghz now.

I can see that AVA didn't actually *do* anything as far as any "mad overclockz0r skillz" being used on my system. It was just set to basic auto for the OC.  *shrug*

While it is true that some motherboards may have an auto OC function, most lower-end motherboards do not.  That requires us to go into the bios, and up the frequencies and voltages manually.

We also stress-test the system after the OC to make sure it is 100% stable.

I would recommend downloading and running a CPU stress test program to make sure that the auto OC is completely stable.  I would also check the voltages and frequencies to make sure those are set to the correct settings as well.  You can call our techs to verify that the auto OC settings are correct.

Hello GT1,
Our technicians also have to test for stability and 90% of the time using AUTO settings will be unstable.  They will go into the BIOS and adjust voltages for memory , cpu and northbridges to make the system stable.  We record all burn-in test results before a system ships.  If you like I can forward these results to you and you can see what settings were changed in the BIOS.

Please let me know.
Thank You
