Just for a little peace of mind...I have purchased custom PCs from other sites as well as built from scratch myself and I have never been anywhere with better information and service than AVA.  I am currently awaiting delivery of a system ordered earlier this month.  I will keep you posted, but thus far everything has gone beyond expectations.  Best of luck with your build.

How do I get the retention bracket when its not on the list of things available <here>.  Can I order it separately and request that it be installed to my PC?

You can find the bracket here: http://www.avadirect.com/product_details_parts.asp?PRID=11253
Just add it to your shopping cart when ordering, and let them know you want it added to the build.

Great! Now I feel very certain that this build is complete, and I don't have to change anything. Thanks everyone!

I just read that when you use a credit card, I'll receive a form that I need to fax to AVADirect, and I don't have a fax machine, so is there any way to do this without leaving my house.?

It would be extremely inconvenient to go to a store and use their fax machine. I expect better from such a helpful site. If I have to go to out of my way just to prove my money is good, I may reconsider where I am buying my PC from. I may just build it myself if I really have to.

Dan, that form is just to verify your information, not to verify if your money is good.  With the amount of credit fraud these days, this procedure is for your protection as well as ours.

There are other ways to pay that do not require authorization including money order, check, and paypal.  I would really hate to see go someplace else because of one small hurdle.

If you have any questions about payments, please call Joe Mundy at 800-808-8299 for any further information.
