Asus' 4870 X2, with new cooler

Sounds fine to me. There's just one 4870 X2 with an aftermarket cooler though.

Asus' other Top model supposedly has a diff heatsink and diff capacitors, looks the same as any other cooler but it does run noticeably cooler. Also it's overclocked

Too many new ATI cards.......
 
While ATI had a good thing going with ATI letting the OEMs creating the card designs..... there are now too many to make sense.
 
Now companies have 5+ card versions for each the 4850 and 4870.
 
While we can add this card to your system, I doubt we are going to carry it regularly.

good thing there will be good airflow in my case though, wish it could exhaust out
