AVADirect to Obtain ISO 9001 Certification

For Immediate Release:

Twinsburg, OH - January 2 - AVADirect, a leading custom computer manufacturer, has announced that it will be obtaining its ISO 9001 certification shortly.  Obtaining an ISO 9001 certification has been one of the top priorities of AVADirect during the 2008 business year.  AVADirect states that obtaining the finished certification will happen sometime in Q2 2009.

AVADirect is obtaining these certification to better server the customer.  With strict policies already in place set forth by these standards, AVADirect can more efficiently run its business and center its work flow to better meet the demands of the changing market.

The ISO 9001 standard sets the following policies

  • a set of procedures that cover all key processes in the business;
  • monitoring processes to ensure they are effective;
  • keeping adequate records;
  • checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where necessary;
  • regularly reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for effectiveness; and
  • facilitating continual improvement

Might not be a bad idea.  I brought the idea before to my managers, but they said they were not ready for it.  Now however may be the time.

Just curious, have you ever checked out fatwallet or ebates? I think dell is on there or something, but no gaming boutiques

Let me check into that.  I know many customers are asking about rebates of some sort.

Alright because it sways my choice when i buy stuff. They're both great sites. Ebates was a little shady with their download though watch out. In total I've received a few hundred dollars :)
