I decided to give this soundcard a try

Is it any good?

I'm trying to decide whether I should get a Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro sound card or just use the built in X-Fi the Asus Rampage II has with Logitech's Z-5500 surround sound speakers. Pinch

The Claro card he bought was a great choice. I had it until the infamous UPS drop. I just wished they had come out with a PCI-X version and I would have it in my new system.
Currently as you see I have the SB faltaly titanium PCI-X version. The bugs that plagued creative for so long seem to be gone, the bloatware that their drivers and sound studio had, still exist to some degree, but I'm happy getting back to fully enabled EAX which the claro cards are capable of as well.

Not sure of the reviews of the rampage's X-FI card.

Do to my config I had to go to creative labs soundcard because Claro blocked all the ports for floppy and front ports.,
