About the AVADirect Maximum Fans Packages
Despite being a very popular option, many of our customers are confused by our fan packages. This article will describe in detail how exactly the Fans Packages work, what type of fans we use, and how we decide how many fans actually go into the system.
First, let me go over what exactly the Maximum Fans Package offers. When selected, we will replace all the case fans with the fans specified. We will only add additional fans if we determine that more cooling is necessary or at customer's request. Requesting more fans than needed will incur an additional cost to the customer based on type of fans and number of fans.
Please note; there are times when we can not or do not replace fans in a case:
- When the fans in the case match the fans selected (such as cases that already have the LED fans specified).
- Large fan sizes due to availability of these fans or current market pricing of them.
- Case already includes fans with certain options like specialized fan controllers or switches.
About the LED Fans
Our LED Fans have embedded LEDs that give off a nice vibrant glow. These fans are usually clear to allow the LEDs to be at full brightness. These fans run at moderate speeds and put off some noise. Below are the specs that we follow when using this option.

About the Low Noise Fans
Our Low Noise fans are made of special materials that dampen the wind noise that other fans make. These fans also run at slightly lower speeds which lower noise, but also lowers overall effective cooling as well. These fans are not recommended for extremely high-powered systems.
