I wondered how these work on a XP or Vista machine?

Hello pdwe,
 
I haven't used this product personally but I checked Creative Labs' site and they do have XP & Vista drivers.  I also did some quick research on the USB device and no one is posting any issues with the device either.  You shouldn't have a problem as long as you disable your current sound device.  However, I would still recommend a PCI or PCI-E internal sound card.

Thanks Chris I was just curious. I was thinking about putting it on a new machine in the future as an option.
