   ASUS, Striker II Extreme and ThermalTake Power Supplies

While the Striker II Extreme is a great motherboard, the motherboard is very specific and picky about the components that plug into it.  While ThermalTake power supplies are NVidia certified, ASUS has changed some minor details from the reference specifications from the eVGA motherboard which is causing startup problems.  These problems involve not being able to startup the power supply and system once the system is off.  This can also sometimes damage the power supply as well.
