Labor Hourly rate for work conducted on the system
Parts Each part is warranted by AVADirect for the period defined per the specific warranty package. Manufacturer warranties are intact and may be used at any point without affecting AVADirect’s warranty. (Accessories excluded)
Advanced Replacement (Parts) Component replacements can be expedited via placing a card hold at the cost of the affected component. Once AVADirect receives the defective part, and has verified the condition of the item does fall outside of warranty coverage, AVADirect will release the hold once the defective component is released. AVADirect may request return tracking information prior to processing an Advanced Replacement. (Applies only to Continental US)
Shipping Customer is responsible for shipping units in need of repair to AVADirect and AVADirect is responsible for shipping repaired units back to the customer (Applies only to Continental US). This responsibility includes covering shipping costs and proper packaging. If all recommended troubleshooting methods are not completely explored, AVADirect reserves the right to hold the customer responsible for all shipping costs incurred by AVADirect.
Return Shipping Shipping is covered both from the customer to AVADirect's repair facility as well as from AVADirect to the customer (Applies only to Continental US). This coverage is dependent on the customer following Support instructions from AVADirect and completing basic troubleshooting tasks upon request.

For warranties which include “Return Shipping” AVADirect will cover a single occurrence, per year, if all of the following criteria are met. An AVADirect Technical support agent will then provide a label upon the customer’s request.

  • The system is being sent back for a repair due to a defect, and not a voluntary procedure such as an upgrade.
  • The customer has retained all of the original packing (Internal box, external box, pink foam inserts, air cushioning between the boxes.)
  • The customer is able to repackage the system in the exact fashion as originally received.
  • No additional components were installed after receipt that could interfere with the original packing, or said additional components have been removed prior to shipping.
