In order for a configuration to be SPCR Certified Quiet PC, a system must run below 20dBA at idle, and below 27 dBA under maximum load, including (but no limited to) no rapid changes in noise, no prominent tonal peaks, and must maintain acoustic levels with safe operating temperature under maximum load.
