Workstation PC Built on Lian-Li PC-V2120X Black Case, ASUS Rampage IV Extreme, Intel Core i7-3960X Extreme, Corsair 64GB (8 x 8GB) DDR3-1600, PNY NVIDIA Quadro 4000

This workstation PC was configured by real customer and individually produced by AVADirect in April 2012.

There’s nothing more we enjoy than building a custom, power-house workstation to help those drive what they need to get done. For this end-user, our six-core graphics workstation provided the components and ability to complete demanding tasks that are not worth waiting forever to complete. This workstation is X79 based, meaning it contains the Sandy Bridge-E socket 2011 processor, which supports quad-channel RAM; in the customer’s scenario, 64GB of fast 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM. More importantly, the Quadro 4000 sits as the center point of the machine, utilized for real-time rendering and graphics intense applications to keep productivity fluent and function headache free. To support a matter of impatient work flow further, a Samsung 256GB solid state disk will speed up wait time and final rendering performance for when projects are completed and rendered down to an acceptable format. This machine can expect a lifetime of 5+ years and has much room to grow beyond the initial configuration, once the end-user decides to upgrade the workstation.
