Affinity desktop help?

I plan to purchase an AVA Direct Affinity desktop. The best gpu listed on the configuration page is too weak for my needs. Can that system hold an Nvidia gtx 980 or Ati R9 390x? My budget is only $2,000 and that's with shipping included.
