Western Digital just released word that they will be launching new 750GB hard drives very soon. They are all available with the standard three-year warranty, and will be featured in the Scorpio Blue series, which could eventually make their way into the higher-performing Scorpio Black Series. The only difference is the speed, which has been increased to a 7200RPM standard, a specification that Western Digital holds over Toshiba's new notebook hard disks. The 750GB two-platter model also has new features such as: Advanced format technology, WhisperDrive, ShockGuard, and SecurePark; All in which will ensure a longer lasting hard disk, with minimal damages done through constant traveling, or relocation of the notebook under operation.
