This Custom Workstation is yet another powerful and well designed configuration created by our customers. The CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 tower case offers a lustrous and high performance design using soundproof materials and dual bottom air intakes to boost air flow quality. The Core i7-975 Extreme Quad-Core processor provides superior performance and power under extreme workloads, compliments of the Intel Turbo Boost technology and Intel Hyper-Treading technology. Supported by the Intel X58 chipset this system provides improved performance by utilizing serial point-to-point links, allowing increased bandwidth and stability. The NVIDIA Quadro FX 580 by PNY is great for 2D professional business applications in multi-monitor environments and is certified for leading 3D CAD and DCC applications at a spectacular price point. In addition, this workstation was built with a NVIDIA 4GB Tesla C1060 Computing Processor in order to provide technical professionals a dedicated computing resource that is faster and more energy-efficient then a shared cluster in the data center. The system is comprised of two Western Digital hard drives, the first being 150GB WD VelociRaptor and the second being a 2TB WD Caviar Green. These hard drives provide awesome speed, great reliability and significant amount of storage. This system was designed with two optical drives, the Sony Dual-Layer Burner with Lightscribe and the LG Electronics Blu-ray Disc Burner. These drives enables this system optimal multi-tasking capabilities. A Silverstone Strider ST1200 Power Supply was chosen to provide exceptional stability, efficiency and power throughout the system. Microsoft Windows 7 was choosing as the operating system which allows for easy navigation for the end-user. This customer built a high performance workstation, which any professional user would appreciate for many years to come and many applications to battle.
