Gaming PC Built on Thermaltake Level 10 GT LCS Black Case, Gigabyte G1.Assassin2, Intel Core i7-3960X Extreme, Corsair 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600, EVGA GeForce GTX 680

This gaming PC was configured by real customer and individually produced by AVADirect in March 2012.

The new Intel X79 chipset has created a new hybrid of excellent performance and supreme expandability. There’s a specific configuration that we feel will fit in nicely with those characteristics, and that would be Gaming. This end-user decided move forward with an X79 gaming system to, not only have the latest and great technology, but also use it to the fullest by investing in an ultimate end-all-be-all Gaming system…Just kidding! This system was actually shipped to the NVIDIA corporation and featured in a desktop configuration giveaway. We asked ourselves “How can we build a new X79 configuration and give it just that little edge to be uniquely noticed?” Simple, combine liquid cooling with the latest GTX 680 and you’re off! We used the Thermaltake Level 10 GT Liquid cooling chassis, combined with a custom Swiftech Apogee HD Gold-plated waterblock; excellent stuff! We felt this was a great way to use something that’s already pre-fabricated, and just expand upon it. It’s an easier solution, so much so, that end-users could follow in our footsteps. This was an exciting event for us, and we were proud to be a part of it!
