Mini Gaming PC Built on Thermaltake Lanbox Black Case, ASUS Rampage II GENE, Intel Core i7-960, Kingston 12GB (6 x 2GB) DDR3-1600, XFX Radeon HD 5870

This mini gaming PC was configured by real customer and individually produced by AVADirect in March 2010.

There is nothing more exciting than having the ability to carry your gaming system with you on the go. Our Custom Small form Factor Gaming PC will allow you to do just that. This end-user decided to choose the Thermaltake lanbox for his portable unit, which is quite the crowd favorite for it's ultimate cooling capabilities. The core i7 960 processor is utilized in conjunction with the ASUS Rampage II GENE, to allow the most performance and expandability for the mATX form factor. The 12GB hints that this customer may be using this system for some editing work, or perhaps just removing the need to upgrade within the entire life span of this system. Adding an ATI HD Radeon 5870 will most definitely provide high frame rates for all current and soon to be released games. As if performance has not been pushed enough, two OCZ 120GB solid state disks in a RAID 1 configuration will ensure redundancy, and higher than normal read/write times. An LG blu-ray burner as installed, which will allow for blu-ray playback, and data storage via BDR. The OCZ power supply chosen will provide more than enough power to the portable unit, and will also keep noise levels low. The Linksys WMP600N is the only wireless card with great Windows 7 64-bit support, and will also hold strong signal strength, which makes this unit even more travel worthy. The blue LED fans package will add a beautifully radiant touch to the cosmetics of the Thermaltake case too. To keep the system stable, and free from viruses, the Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and Norton AntiVirus 2010 will certainly ensure nothing but a pleasant experience with all of the hardware selected by this end-user.
