Workstation PC Built on Enermax Fulmo GT Black Case, ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS, 2 x Intel Xeon E5-2609, Crucial 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-1333 ECC Registered, PNY NVIDIA Quadro 600, NVIDIA Tesla C2070

This workstation PC was configured by real customer and individually produced by AVADirect in April 2012.

High-Performance Computing has been a requirement since the dawn of the personal computer. Typically, these types of machines were housed a server chassis and utilized in a business or enterprise level of expectancy, until AVADirect began to offer HPC’s in a mainstream format. We had the pleasure of working with this end-user to determine his needs and provide him with a configuration that was suitable for his requirements. What better way to provide such a configuration than with Intel’s new E5 series processors. This allows the end-user to take advantage of current hardware by keeping up with demand and setting themselves up for easily integrated upgrades. The end-user chose the most cost-effect processor configuration by choosing two E5-2609 processors. Combined with 32GB of ECC RAM, this ensure the HPC has plenty of reliable resource. The Quadro 600 series card, not entirely powerful, is just an addition to “the goods” of this system; the Tesla C2070 Computing processor. This is the main focal point of the configuration, providing an immense amount of breath-taking computing power to compile and process anything present to this HPC. This is a configuration to be proud of, for many years to come, and we’re confident that this will breed many great things for the end-user to enjoy and rely on.
