Using Samsung 20-nm-class NAND flash and Samsung´s latest MDX controller, the PM841 offers 6Gb/s speeds over a SATA 3.0 interface, allowing the drive to reach sequential reads of up to 520MB/s and sequential writes of up to 330MB/s. Offered in two form factors - traditional 2.5-inch drive or ultra-thin mSATA dimensions - the PM841 fits into a variety of spaces to give you added design flexibility. And since SSDs have no moving parts, they use less energy than traditional drives and are not subject to the wear and tear of spinning media.
