AVADirect Custom Computers, a recognized and growing leader in the custom computer industry, is seeking a Computer Assembly Technician for our Twinsburg, Ohio location.This candidate will be responsible for assembling the custom built systems for customer and internal use.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling laptops, desktops, workstations, servers, and gaming computer systems.
  • Follows quality control procedures; looks for mistakes in the assembly process and faulty components; reports problems.
  • Assemble, solder, wire and repair electronic components, sub-assemblies and finished goods.
  • Perform assembly activities prior to and upon completion, such as cleaning and organizing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Work from blueprints, layout drawings, and verbal instruction.
  • Follow prescribed procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Strong detail oriented focus.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Expert knowledge of PC Hardware and components.
  • Ability to work under time constraints.
  • A+ or other computer science related certificates preferred.
  • 1 or more years of experience in assembling computer systems preferred.

This candidate will be responsible for performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files and providing information to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive AVADirect Customer Experience.
  • Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers profitability profiles.
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders or returns
  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Make copies of correspondence and other printed material.
  • Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
  • Provide services to customers, such as order placement and account information.
  • Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
  • Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proactive and self-disciplined.
  • 1 to 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 60 wpm.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.

AVADirect, a recognized and growing leader in the custom computer industry, is seeking a Sales & Support Representative for our Twinsburg, Ohio location. The Sales & Support Representative is responsible for providing both pre-and post-sale support to customers. They will work to manage web store inquiries, field potential leads and meet or exceed monthly sales expectations at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction, as well as supporting those customers by initiating Technical Support, Returns, and Warranty service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive AVADirect Customer Experience.
  • Maintain sales and support standards within in a timely manner.
  • Accurately inspect, investigate, and process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, warranties, upgrades.
  • Assist with the collecting information and directing customers to the appropriate AVA representative.
  • Complete basic diagnostics for support-related issues, utilizing the internal ticket system to relay cases to the correct representative.
  • Communicate status updates on customer requests.
  • Follow up on back-logged orders/RMAs to generate action and expedite processes.
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
  • Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products to improved product related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
  • Answering incoming phone calls, chats, and emails while providing a high level of satisfaction to customers.
  • Work with Production and Quality Control to determine potential solutions for hardware and software problems.
  • Recommend corrections to procedures that prove detrimental.
  • Respond to 40-60 customer emails and/or message boards per week.
  • Capable of documenting problems in our support solution database.Effective and efficiently provide solutions to customers under time constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, self-disciplined and able to work in both teams or independently.
  • Ability to work under time constraints.
  • Capability of troubleshooting basic aspects of a custom desktops, servers and/ or notebook’s either on-site or remotely.
  • Knowledge and an understanding of PC hardware components and software.

AVADirect, a recognized and growing leader in the custom computer industry, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our Twinsburg, Ohio location. This candidate will be responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of merchandise into and out of the warehouse facility, along with assisting the Shipping and Receiving Manager in daily tasks, training procedures, quality assurance, and shipment control.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Posts weight and shipping charges.
  • Prepares bills of lading.
  • Photographing all systems prior to shipment.
  • Unload and process incoming stock.
  • Process outbound shipments of inventory via UPS, USPS, FedEx, commercial carrier and will calls.
  • Move, store and transfer materials, supplies and merchandise in and about a warehouse, loading dock and storage area.
  • Performs manual, computer or RF functions to enter data in systems.
  • Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations.
  • Maintain warehouse in a clean and safe condition.
  • Climb ladders to maintain upper level areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment.
  • Current certifications preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 50 pounds and 80 pounds.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math and computer operations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take directions.
  • Ability to perform tasks consistently and accurately.
  • Physical activity to include standing and walking up to 8 – 9 hours with scheduled breaks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prior experience shipping & receiving helpful.
