AVADirect Custom Computers, a recognized and growing leader in the custom computer industry, is seeking a Computer Assembly Technician for our Twinsburg, Ohio location.This candidate will be responsible for assembling the custom built systems for customer and internal use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling laptops, desktops, workstations, servers, and gaming computer systems.
  • Follows quality control procedures; looks for mistakes in the assembly process and faulty components; reports problems.
  • Assemble, solder, wire and repair electronic components, sub-assemblies and finished goods.
  • Perform assembly activities prior to and upon completion, such as cleaning and organizing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Work from blueprints, layout drawings, and verbal instruction.
  • Follow prescribed procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Strong detail oriented focus.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Expert knowledge of PC Hardware and components.
  • Ability to work under time constraints.
  • A+ or other computer science related certificates preferred.
  • 1 or more years of experience in assembling computer systems preferred.

This candidate will be responsible for performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files and providing information to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive AVADirect Customer Experience.
  • Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers profitability profiles.
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders or returns
  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Make copies of correspondence and other printed material.
  • Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
  • Provide services to customers, such as order placement and account information.
  • Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.

Qualifications:

AVADirect Custom Computers, a recognized and growing leader in the custom computer industry, is seeking a full time Parts Coordinator for our Twinsburg, Ohio location. This candidate will be responsible for performing all inventory management functions in the Return Merchandise Department for all incorrect, damaged, and incompatible products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Correspond with vendors through email and phone on a regular basis.
  • Provide constant feedback to Purchasing and RMA on obstacles and changes within our internal system or working with vendors and manufactures.
  • Utilizing multiple shipping methods for domestic, freight and international shipping quotes.
  • Act as a liaison between service technicians and vendors regarding warranty replacement parts.
  • Return incorrect or defective parts and reorder correct replacement parts.
  • Maintains an effective working relationship with management, technicians, customers and vendors.
  • Issue and manage all shipping claims for domestic, freight, and international shipments.
  • Delivery management, including maintaining daily ETA report, and interaction with manufacturers and other departments in case of late delivery.
  • Coordinates the resolution of parts problems.
  • Ensure credits are issued for damage, missing, or wrong parts shipped by vendors.

  • Understands thoroughly the 4 P’s - Product, Placement, Price and Promotion - and how they relate to all our internal / external communications.
  • Can clearly articulate our organizational mission and vision statements.

  • Capable of creating and writing monthly newsletters
  • Writing and copy-editing of press releases.

This candidate will be responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of merchandise into and out of the warehouse facility, along with assisting the Shipping and Receiving Manager in daily tasks, training procedures, quality assurance, and shipment control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Posts weight and shipping charges.
  • Prepares bills of lading.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
  • Compiles records of unfilled orders.

  • Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program.
  • Record information such as computer operating time, problems that occurred, and actions taken.

  • Overclocking CPUs and GPUs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
