The Xigmatek Elysium Full Tower Case is a perfect example of such gargantuan-sized cases that support SSI-EEB dual-XEON workstation boards. Specifically, the ASUS Z9PE-D16/2L motherboard was used to offer large amounts of RAM utilization, and support for the Intel Xeon E5-2630 V2 six-core processors selected for this Custom Workstation Configuration. Appropriately, a Kingston 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR3-1600 ECC Registered RAM kit was chosen for this Custom Workstation Configuration, by the end-user, and is a great starting point for any dual-XEON Custom Workstation Configuration. In a growing trend, the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SuperClocked graphics card seems to be one of the most popular choices for our workstations; most likely due to the fact that our customer’s don’t want a basic graphics card, but still want something with power, should they need graphics processing on demand.
