At AVADirect, we build a myriad of configurations for our customers to take advantage of. Amongst those configuration, we offer custom home server computers, providing storage or hosting solutions that can easily be incorporated into a windows home network. This customer decided on a Xeon E3 1155 home server system. The server contains the Xeon® E3-1225 Quad-Core Processor, which will easily keep the home server current for 5+ years, 8GB of Kingston DDR3 RAM, and two Seagate 1TB Barracuda drives in RAID 1, mirroring all data stored on the usable 1TB partition table. The customer opted for no operating system, which means he either has his own version of Windows Home Server 2011 (or older) , or he plans to load a different operating system. Either way, this small little home server system packs a punch and will be fully upgradable, once the time comes to upgrade.
