As most Custom Workstation PC configurations require, this build features a massively-large case; brought to you by the wonderful folks at Rosewill. The Rosewill Blackhawk chassis is a favorite to AVADirect. It’s a low-cost, quality case alternative to most of the other HPTX cases we offer. Dual-socket motherboard have large form-factor requirements, being that most of them are SSI EEB, so HPTX cases are a definite requirement for these classification of workstations. This build is based off of the Opteron G34 chipset and features the ASUS, KGPE-D16 motherboard, which powers two AMD Opteron™ 6320 Eight-Core 2.8 - 3.3GHz processors. Other may feel indifferent, once it is noted that only 16GB of Kingston 1600Mhz ECC RAM was used, but it’s very possible that the end-user requires a Custom Workstation PC with CPU horsepower, rather than RAM productivity. The PNY Quadro 600 also shows that graphics requirements are not high, and simply need to reduce bottleneck for displaying video. It’s safe to say this Custom Workstation Configuration was built for CPU power in mind, in which it will perform very well.
