One of the many benefits with choosing AVADirect, besides having the ability to configure a truly custom system, is building a custom desktop PC that most companies would not even dream of offering. We like to make dreams come true, and we had the pleasure of building this custom liquid cooling configuration for our customer to use as a high-end gaming system. The key highlights of this configuration are the two EVGA GeForce® GTX 680 Superclocked Signature 2 graphics cards in SLI (air cooled), Intel Core i7-3930K Six-Core processor (overclocked to 4.5Ghz) 16GB (4 x 4GB) of Corsair’s Dominator-GT DHX Pro running at 2133Mhz, and a superfast 256GB Crucial M4 SSD. We ran this system extensively under games such as Metro 2033, Darksiders II, and Borderlands 2 to push the overclock to the max. Each game performed flawlessly and without a single abrupt fault during extensive gaming. The liquid cooling parts include the XSPC 280mm low-profile radiator, XSPC reservoir w/ Swiftech MCP355 pump combo, and a Swiftech Apogee HD waterblock. Primochill Pro tubes were used, combined with EK coolant to provide the best cooling results possible. We were excited to build such a configuration, and when meeting the end-user during pick-up we could tell they were just as excited. Our customer’s reactions to our hard work is the biggest payoff we could ever ask for.
