With Intel’s latest Z77 chipset, providing excellent value in the performance by using the Ivy Bridge processors, many individuals have decided to use it as the basis for their custom gaming desktops. To make building a Z77 configuration simple, we offer our GAMING PC Core i5 / i7 Z77 2-way SLI / CrossFireX Custom Gaming System Configurator. This particular configuration offers the best of all aspects. The high end Intel Core™ i7-3770K processor is a strong point for this configuration, but when combined with two EVGA GeForce® GTX 670 915MHz graphics cards in SLI is makes this desktop practically unstoppable. To make matters even more interesting, a Corsair 16GB (4 x 4GB) Vengeance RAM kit was used to provide multi-tasking capabilities and plenty of resource for even the most demanding games. The kicker, however, is the use of two Samsung 256GB 830 Series SSDs in RAID 0; wow! Although, there’s a point where SSDs become benchmark fast, meaning you will really only notice the difference while perusing benchmark performance results. When studying the noticeable performance, there’s not much. We will say that AVADirect cannot predict the future, and there very well may be a point in time where the end-user will be happy to have SSDs in RAID 0.
