Since the release of the Sandy Bridge-E processors, we have seen many customers take a liking to the amount of performance and diverse options that the X79 chipset can provide. In this instance, the customer decided to purchase a performance-oriented system from us, which will give them the edge needed to complete any demanding tasks that await the computer. To stay conservative, but take advantage of the newly profound Intel chipset, the customer decided to stick with a quad-core processor. This is an excellent choice, especially when combined with a Corsair H70 liquid cooler; possible overclocking? Perhaps! Here’s where things begin to get interesting…the customer built the configuration around a 64GB Corsair 1600Mhz RAM kit, and 512GB Samsung SSD combo. These two components allow will make for some very promising results. What could they be using the system for? Our guess, most likely running several applications or virtual environments at once, that must run without any flaws or interruptions. It was a very excellent decision, on the customer’s part, to choose a large RAM kit and SSD because that is exactly what the system will do for you. We love to see end-users take advantage of such cutting-edge technology, and look forward to seeing how this system unfolds for the customer!
