That old saying “big things come in small packages” hold true to this configuration. Nothing provides an exceptional balance of performance portability than our Compact Gaming PC configurations. This end-user decided to take advantage of the small form-factor combined with the Sandy Bridge chipset, which leaves smaller footprint than the previous Intel chipset generations. Even though the case is smaller than a mid-tower chassis the parts listed in this particular configuration make a huge impact in several areas. The 2600 i7 processor, GTX 550 Ti graphics card, 16GB of Corsair RAM, and Corsair 60GB SSD will go a very long way in editing applications, development, gaming, and other standard day-to-day use. This configuration would be ideal for LAN parties, office environments with limited space, and of course a sweet home-theater based setup. The added HDMI ports on new graphics cards released within the past two years has completely changed the way most consumers look and PCs. A once novel idea has become practically a standard within households that melt over high-end or plug-and-play electronics. One would also think heat would be an issues in such a smaller package, but the modular power supply adds more open space for ambient temperatures to easily be addressed. The helps keep the system cooler, quiet, and highly efficient for prolonged use.
