There are many exciting aspects to Custom Desktop PCs. One of them, is reviewing a build, put together by one of our customers, and taking the best guess as to what it will be used for. First of, I will say that it’s excellent to see a different case was used for this build, compared to some of the most popular choices we offer. The Raidmax Seiran Case is a unique design, and clearly offers plenty of room for expansion in the future. The ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM R2.0 motherboard is not a performance oriented board, but for someone who simply needs a working system, it’s a great way to reduce costs as much as possible. Speaking of which, the Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge processor is an oldie, but a definite goodie, and continues to create a wonderful value for this system. The Kingston 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1333Mhz RAM kit leads me to believe this build is going to be a daily, average-use Custom Desktop PC, and the ASUS GeForce GT 640 Fanless graphics card will continue to provide exceptional display quality, while keeping noise levels (as well as price point) down.
