We had the direct pleasure of working with this end-user to configure this beast-of-a-sandy-bridge system, and it was a true pleasure. The end-user did not have a specific use for this system, but many that gave him a plethora of options with this specific configuration. A sandy bridge system is the perfect breeding ground for a day to day system at a great price. It has enough punch to pack in every use you can think of utilizing a PC for, while keeping your wallet in mind. The Silverstone Fortress 2 case is magnificent for expandability, and provides exceptional cooling when combined with an NZXT fan controller, our maximum fan package, and the Prolimatech Megahalems cooler; well known for its abilities to chill a processor. Even though the end-user chose not to overclock, he certainly wanted to make sure temperatures were at their all time best. Most may think 8GB of 2000Mhz RAM is a bit overkill, and it may be at this point in time, but who knows what the future holds with the demand for hardware increasingly growing. The GTX 560 Ti card is the perfect example of great price to performance without going overboard. The Vertex 2 SSD will keep the OS running with optimal read/write performance over a hard disk, while using a 2TB hard disk for storage to keep the SSD nice and slim. When combining the performance aspect, and aesthetics of a visually pleasing package of LED fans and cathode lights this system is unique; a reason why AVADirect lives and breathes custom computers – to create a unique experience and product for each of our customers.
