Custom gaming systems, the life blood of AVADirect. Though we offer many different types of configurations and systems, gaming computers are one of the most popular computers purchased to date. We offer a variety of component and choice to provide the most extensive, creative configurations possible. This end-user decided to take advantage of the bells and whistles that come packaged with our custom gaming systems. By opting for our free mild overclocking service, the customer was able to take advantage of the i7 960 processor by adding a Thermalright CPU cooler. This is like the NFL of all CPU heatsinks, and posses no problems effectively cooling the CPU at idle and under full load. Many have also become drawn to the ASUS Sabertooth motherboard for the added expansion slots, increased overclocking features, and rock-solid design. Given the fact the customer chose a (3 x 4) 12GB RAM kit he definitely plans to upgrade this computer in the future. The GTX 580 graphics card will also make for an enjoyable gaming session, and also give the end-user the chance to upgrade to a better card in the future, thus saving money now, or adding a second GTX 580 down the line. It appears the decision to upgrade the sound card to the Creative Titanium Fatal1ty Champion was a wise one. All on-board sound is high definition, so in order for a dedicated sound card to make a difference it must be a pretty beefy one, and that it is. The Vertex 2 SSD will increase performance all around, rather than focus the investment on a specific area in the machine. An added plus for our gaming configurations is the option to add acoustic foam. This provides the customer with the choice of choosing any case design they like, and ensure it is quiet than standard configurations. It is decisions like these, that the end-user made for this configuration, which adds to our enjoyment of being the true custom computer builder.
