Custom Gaming PC's are one of the most exciting systems we offer, especially due to the amount of options available. This particular customer chose the Thermaltake Speedo case, which is absolutely fantastic for air-cooled systems and expandability. The Intel core i7 940 processor is a great balance of price to performance, especially when choosing to take advantage of our overclocking feature, in which the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro will make a great companion. The ASUS P6TD Deluxe offers great expandability, and will easily support the Dual-Crossfire ATI 5770 setup. The 6GB of Crucial RAM will ensure the system runs smoothly, and will continue to do so for at least three years. A RAID 0 array is configured in this machine, using two Seagate 1.5TB barracuda drives. In doing so, performance will barely decrease as more data is stored on this array. A standard Sony dual-layer DVD optical drive will provide simple media functionality. The Thermaltake 1000w power supply ensures that the system will have enough power, and furthermore, the chance to receive upgrades down the line. The end-user chose to add a media-card reader to further expand his options, and a wireless card to have optimal connectivity in any area of his household. ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 will provide great security against online threats, but Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit has great stand-alone defense well by itself. In summary, the end-user did a fantastic job with choosing a great combination of components to take part in a great experience.
