The support I received from the Technical Sales staff was excellent. They were very helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, and patient (I switched back and forth on some components). They worked with me to build the best future-proof system at an affordable price point, which was a very positive experience. The Build team did an excellent job with component installation, cable routing, component replacement (case fans), and packaging of accessories that were unused in the build. They also used expandable foam to stabilize components during shipping and everything was buttoned up in double-boxed, bubble-wrapped protection for shipping. Post-purchase communications informed me of shipping, tracking, and delivery info plus activation keys for the pre-loaded OS. The system booted perfectly. I worked in an IT organization for over 40 years and although it didn't involve PC support, I had experienced a number of cycles receiving both desktop & laptop systems along with peripherals that were "professionally " shipped. I can honestly state that AVADirect far out-performed all of those vendors in protecting the system they shipped. When I had the idea to look for a barebones PC, I found you guys were one of the only people who'd do it, and I was pretty nervous because I had never purchased with AVADirect before. But, being candid, my expectations were completely blown out of the water. It was exactly what I was hoping would come so that I could transplant parts from my old PC, but without having to spend extra money, OR do any wiring from the PSU to the motherboard which I find a headache even if it's not horribly difficult. And I know it should be common practice, but thank you for sending a second box with all the unused cables and panels that came with my selected parts!

this is the second custom build i've gotten from AVA. both experiences were top-notch in all regards, but especially in the communication with the sales associates. they respond quickly, thoroughly, and helpfully to my numerous questions spread out across lots of emails. the custom laptop i ordered in 2021 and the custom tower i ordered this past march both exceeded my expectations. my only gripe about the experience- and i don't really feel like it's a valid one- is how overwhelming the build-your-computer process is on the website with waaaaay more options than my remedial brain could handle. AVA actually makes it as easy as it could possibly be done, so as i said- it's not a valid gripe. it's possible the new tower i just received last month will be the last i ever own in my lifetime, but if it's not then i'll be buying my next custom computer from AVA. 5-stars all around. i typically don't bother with requests to review products purchased online, but felt that AVA deserves that i take some time from my day to do so.
